Techpool starts up from R&D and regards technology innovation as the soul to develop the company. We have over 50 R&D personnel which are from domestic or foreign famous institutes and universities. Most of them are experienced masters and doctors in the research and development of protein and nucleic acid drug. We have approximate 3000 m² laboratory and a pilot scale trial workshop equipped with advanced apparatus for biological isolation and purification. It is granted as the post-doctor's scientific research station, the protein drug R&D center of Guangdong province and Guangzhou city as well.

Techpool developed by itself the global innovative drug –Kallikrein (Urinary Kallidinogenase for Injection), the state class II new drug-Ulinastatin for Injection, the state class IV new drug-Low molecular weight heparin calcium injection and some other finished drugs and APIs including highly purified Urokinase for Injection (Roxin), HCG, HMG, FSH, Galanthamine etc for the domestic as well as overseas markets.  Roxin was granted as famous brand biological drug of China and appointed as the sole drug in the “Clinical comparison research on the treatment of early stage acute cerebral infarction” (Key project of Ministry of Health in “the 9^th 5-year plan”); the Low molecular weight heparin calcium was granted as “Key new product of Guangdong Province” and “National key new product”; Ulinastatin for Injection was listed in items of the State Torch Project of 1999, the Key new product of Guangdong Province and the national key new product ; it was honored the first prize of technology progress of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City as well.

The new products research has been well supported by related government departments. We undertook and accomplished multiple key technology projects of state, Guangdong province and Guangzhou city. The Ulinastatin industrialization project was supported by national development and reform commission; the state class I new drug- Urinary Kallidinogenase (Kallikrein) was listed in the key project of Ministry of Science and technology (The R&D projects for 10 innovative drugs, “1035 project” for short); it was listed in the key projects of  “the10^th 5-year plan” in 2002.
